The Jason Foundation The Jason Foundation, Inc. (JFI) is an educational, non-profit organization dedicated to the awareness and prevention of youth suicide. JFI strives to establish a Triangle of Prevention by providing students, parents and teachers the tools and resources needed to identify and help at-risk youth.

What can I do to prevent this tragedy in my children, the youth I work with or their friends?

The Jason Foundation, Inc. (JFI) Affiliate Office in Arkansas at Pinnacle Pointe Hospital believes the path to prevention is education and awareness. Pinnacle Pointe, fulfilling a mission of community education, provides the required training at no cost to educators or their school districts. Additionally, The Jason Foundation offers a school-based curriculum, designed for students in grades 7-12, that provides positive peer support in the awareness and prevention of youth suicide. The curriculum helps students learn how to identify their friends who may be thinking about suicide and gives direction in safely handling that information.

In support of The Jason Flatt Act, Pinnacle Pointe provides workshops in community settings such as PTO/PTA meetings, church groups, employee groups and schools to increase access to training. Online resources are also designed to allow educators to receive this training in a convenient setting that works within their schedules.

For a schedule of trainings or information about scheduling a training for a group, contact us or call 800-880-3322 and ask for a Jason Foundation representative. Additional information about the Jason Foundation may be found at www.jasonfoundation.com.
